My Photographic Portfolio
You are priveledged enough to be allowed to take a glimpse into the sultry (and usually underexposed) world which lies within my photographic portfolio. Not that I've ever really done this professionally, mind you (although I AM scheduled to do a wedding in June...). I just really like to take pictures. Here are some of the ones I feel have more artistic merit, which, if you know anything about art, means me and my mom like them. Just kidding! Haha! Don't want to offend any real artists out there! (Christy, I'm talking to you!) Anyway, here they are, in random order...
A couple of summers ago, a cousin of mine got married in Savannah. Me being the shutterbug that I am, plus I was the ONLY person who arrived with a camera and film besides the hired photographer, I ended up taking quite a few pictures. This one is of some of my other cousins decorating the trolley which they used to take them from the church to the reception hall, in lieu of a limo.
This is actually at the reception at the same wedding. My cousin and uncle cutting the rug... Well, as much as Catholics can cut a rug... Kidding!
Here's another one of my cats, Pawla, aka Punkin, bathing in my sister's old toybin. You know it's gotta be comfy in there!
Ripley, who is no longer with us :(, lounging on the table in the bay window. He must've been into Fox Trot.
This one I chose based solely on the use of light in the picture. In the non-conformist style, I chose to have the background lit, while my subject, Teena Marie, remained dark. Yes, I did that on purpose. Shesh!
Last but not least, our little squeaky mouse-like Yoda. I think she'd spotted a bug or something on the screen to play with. How cute!
